About the role
The Project Manager, Strategic Initiatives will work closely with senior leaders to assist in managing key initiatives and projects across the organization. This role will provide support in organizing, tracking, and driving projects to completion. The Project Manager, Strategic Initiatives will be collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring the efficient delivery of project objectives. This position will apply project management practices to contribute to the long-term success of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Project Management – 100%.
- Assist in managing a portfolio of projects by helping to design objectives, timelines, and key performance metrics.
- Collaborate with senior leaders and teams across various functions to ensure successful completion of business goals.
- Support the coordination of cross-functional teams, ensuring work is aligned with overall project goals and timelines.
- Help implement project management routines to support organizational effectiveness.
- Manage and maintain project milestones and deliverables; create project plans.
- Manage project meeting agendas and facilitation; capture meeting notes and next steps.
- Aid in supporting change management activities and assisting in driving stakeholder adoption.
- Prepare project updates and assist in creating executive-level communications.
- Contribute to strategic and tactical decision-making by providing relevant information and analysis.
- Defines workshop objectives to establish clear goals and desired outcomes that align with organizational needs.
- Prepares workshop materials, creating all necessary handouts, presentations, and resources in advance to ensure a smooth session.
- Supports group collaboration through brainstorming and idea sharing, ensuring insights are drawn from discussion.
- Captures insights and action items; documents key takeaways to ensure follow-up and continuity.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in related discipline.
- 5-7 years experience in project management.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
- Working knowledge of Monday.com (optional, but preferred).
- Working knowledge of document management systems.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills - both oral and written.
- Ability to build strong business relationships at all levels.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
