DSHS ESH Dentist

Eastern State Hospital is seeking a Dentist to join our team to provide dental care for our patients with the Department of Social and Health Service.

• Perform dental evaluations, treatment, and preventive care
• Provide general dental care, both emergency and routine treatment
• Perform oral examinations; provide restorations, endodontics, extraction of teeth and roots (non-surgical), prosthetics, and periodontal treatment
• Prescribe/recommend medications for treatment
• Perform supervisory duties for the Dental Clinic
• Refer patients to medical and dental specialists as necessary
• Interpret federal regulations as they apply to statewide dental programs, ensuring compliance of dental programs with federal standards; maintaining records, and making reports evaluating the progress of patients

• A Professional with a doctorate degree from an accredited school of dentistry and at least two years of experience in the practice of dentistry
• A valid Washington State license to practice dentistry
