IR Imaging Coordinator

The Interventional Radiology Services Coordinator organizes the workflow of AdventHealth Wesley Chapel Imaging Services/Cardiology and reviews the various service areas to gain and improve efficiency. Assists with checking in patients and resolves frontline service issues. Provides general support to the department's Directors, Managers, Radiologist and front-line staff.

• Coordinate workflow for cardiology and radiology modalities
• Assure accuracy of scheduled appointments
• Schedules all Special/Interventional Radiology procedures and Cardiology procedures
• Scrutinizes the tentative schedules and contacts Modality Leader, Lead Nurse, Admissions, radiologists, etc.
• Consults with Directors, Managers, Nursing, Radiologist, and Modality Leaders regarding schedule conflicts, concerns or requests

• High School Diploma or equivalent upon hire
• Current American Heart Association BLS certificate or RQI upon hire, then renewed quarterly following the RQI protocols
