Responsible for assisting in performing specific duties and activities of daily living under the supervision of a professional nurse.

• Assists in performing specific duties and activities of daily living under the supervision of a professional nurse.
• Documents and reports all procedures in accordance with department policy.
• Participates in obtaining a nursing history and reports abnormalities to the registered nurse.
• Assists in identifying patient needs and developing or modifying the plan of care.
• Performs treatments according to policy and procedure, providing patient care appropriate to age, mobility, acuity, and culture.

• High School Grad or Equivalent
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS)
• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)
• Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant (CPCT/A)
• Emergency Medical Tech Cert (EMT)
