About the role
This Customer Service Specialist will work in a fast-paced, challenging environment to provide support to internal and external customers by utilizing strong communication skills to resolve customer service issues within the scope of policy. This position requires a high level of flexibility as it relates to cross training on multiple functions within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Effectively communicate information verbally and in writing
- Maintain professionalism while dealing with difficult situations and/or people
- Identify opportunities for process improvement
- Interact professionally with all levels of management and staff
- Multi-task and problem solve under pressure
- Meet attendance and punctuality requirements
- Operate computer systems, telephone systems, copiers, fax machines, etc.
- Provide feedback to other departments regarding areas of concern or improvement
- Manage confidential information effectively
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Other duties as assigned
