Staff Pharmacist

An immediate opening is available for a skilled pharmacy professional to cover the night shift at a well-established community hospital in Quincy, Massachusetts. This contract position spans 13 weeks with a work schedule designed for consistent shifts—7 days on followed by 7 days off, Thursdays through Wednesdays from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The hospital utilizes the EPIC system, making familiarity with this technology an asset for smooth integration.

• Verifying medication orders accurately to ensure patient safety
• Supervising pharmacy technicians in daily operations
• Consulting with physicians and nurses regarding pharmacotherapy and patient care
• Performing pharmacokinetics evaluations to optimize medication regimens

• Valid Massachusetts pharmacy license
• Approximately five years of inpatient pharmacy experience
• Strong clinical knowledge and effective communication skills
