CC ICU Medical Registered Nurse Contract StaffFlex

This contract Registered Nurse position in the ICU CC Medical unit at AdventHealth Redmond involves providing coordinated nursing care, monitoring patient conditions, and implementing interventions. Minimum qualifications include 2 years of acute care experience, an Associates degree, and current nursing licenses and certifications.

• Demonstrates effective assessment skills to ensure quality patient care
• Performs and documents accurate initial assessment per unit standards
• Observes and monitors patient lab work for trends and reports abnormalities
• Utilizes clinical data to implement appropriate interventions
• Performs and documents ongoing patient assessment
• Initiates use of restraints per hospital policy with commitment to alternatives

• 2 years of hospital acute care experience
• Associates Degree from an accredited school
• Must be a graduate of an approved nursing program
• Active State Registered Nurse License
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current AHA Advanced Life Support (ACLS)
• Current AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) if applicable
• Current AHA National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) if applicable

• Flexible contract assignments
• Travel Nursing directly with AdventHealth, no third party agency involved
• Assist to extend to permanent staff member
