About the role
Responsible for collaborating with the Spiritual Care team to provide pastoral care services to patients and their family members. This position responds to urgent situations, such as codes or death, at the request or referral of administrative coordinators, nurses, or family members. This role ensures compassionate support and guidance during critical moments. In addition, this position maintains personal accountability for organizational mission and core values. This role contributes to the emotional and spiritual well-being of patients and families.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for collaborating with the Spiritual Care team to provide pastoral care services to patients and their family members.
- Provides focused attention to patients, loved ones, and staff without agenda, effectively listening and responding to their needs.
- Conveys personalized care to patients, families, and staff, ensuring they feel cared for and supported.
- Enables patients, loved ones, and staff to experience God's nearness, safety, and comfort.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in spiritual care, arts, or equivalent degree from college/university or institution accredited by the applicants institutional faith body.
- Driver's License (DL)
