Schedule: Full time Shift :Days Th e community you'll be caring for: AdventHealth North Pinellas The role you'll contribute: Responsible for upholding the highest standard of cleanliness and customer satisfaction, developing relationships across all levels of leadership to implement quality cleaning methodologies that align with Joint Commission environment of care standards. This position is pivotal in creating and nurturing enduring relationships with EVS team members to promote an engaged work environment. Additionally, this role offers ongoing evidence-based sanitary training that yields tangible results. In addition, this position plans, organizes, and controls environment of care activities, ensuring the safety, health, and morale of patients, visitors, and team members. Responsibilities for this role include establishing departmental regulations and procedures in alignment with administrative policies, developing standards for the environmental services department in accordance with regulatory bodies such as OSHA and the U.S. Department of Transportation, and maintaining strong interdepartmental and external relations. This position ensures the hospital meets all Joint Commission and regulatory guidelines, encompassing responsibilities beyond environmental services, including preparing and cooking food in compliance with health and safety guidelines, providing excellent customer service, and offering oversight and training to staff members. The value you'll bring to the team: Responsible for developing, organizing and controlling activities in environmental services department. Prepares, evaluates and controls the Departments annual Budget. Works with department management teams in developing in-service programs and assigns the responsibility of presentation of programs to employees by management staff. Responsible for overseeing the development of a department orientation program for all new employees to ensure new employees know the guidelines of their job and what is expected of them. Assure that new employees receive this department orientation within six weeks. Conducts scheduled meetings with environmental services department management staff to problem solve and continuous education in management training.
