Patient Care Tech Nights Orthopedics

The Patient Care Tech works under supervision of the professional nurse, assisting in performing specific duties and activities of daily living in caring for age-specific groups

• Assists in performing specific duties and activities of daily living in caring for age-specific groups
• Documents and reports all procedures in accordance with department policy
• Participates in obtaining a nursing history and reports abnormalities to the registered nurse
• Assists in identifying patient needs and developing or modifying the plan of care
• Performs treatments according to policy and procedure, providing patient care appropriate to age, mobility, acuity, and culture

• High School Grad or Equivalent Required
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) Required and Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Required or CPCT/A or EMT
