ENVIRONMENTAL SPECIALIST 4 (Sustainability & Pollution Prevention Program)

About the role
This position reports to the Environmental Specialist 5 (ES5) for the Environmental Branch in the Construction & Facilities Management Office (CFMO) and is responsible to serve as a senior environmental specialist duties with the primary focus on implementation and administration of the Sustainability & Pollution Prevention Program, the Spill Prevention Control & Countermeasure Program, the Water Quality Program, and the Environmental Performance Assessment System.
Responsibilities
- Implement and administer the Sustainability & Pollution Prevention Program
- Plan, facilitate, and represent the program in public meetings, hearings, and workshops
- Coordinate related sustainment and pollution prevention risk assessment, investigation, and cleanup
Requirements
- Two years of experience as an Environmental Specialist 3
- Bachelor's degree involving a major study in environmental, physical, or one of the natural sciences, environmental planning, or related field
