About the role

Responsibilities

  • Deliver individualized occupational therapy services to a caseload of 15-20 students
  • Conduct thorough assessments and document findings through detailed reports
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, contributing professional insights
  • Provide therapy sessions lasting 15-30 minutes, scheduled 1-4 times monthly based on student needs

Requirements

  • Valid Occupational Therapist licensure and credentials appropriate for school settings
  • Experience working with pediatric populations aged 3-12, focusing on fine motor and sensory challenges
  • Strong knowledge of educational therapy frameworks and IEP processes
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Flexibility to accommodate a variable schedule within the school day
