About the role
We are excited to welcome Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellows (SLP-CFs) who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of students!
Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students with communication disorders
- Conduct assessments and assist in determining eligibility for speech-language services
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
- Deliver therapy services in both individual and group settings
- Collect data and monitor student progress toward IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students' communication needs in academic settings
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with state, district, and federal regulations
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Eligibility for a Clinical Fellowship and temporary licensure in the state of practice
- Commitment to obtaining ASHA CCC-SLP certification upon completion of CFY
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Passion for working with children and supporting their academic and social success
- Familiarity with IDEA, IEP process, and school-based service delivery models (preferred but not required)
