About the role
The Travel Specialist is responsible for booking and following up on travel reservations including air, hotel, and car rentals for clinicians and internal corporate employees.
Responsibilities
- Books travel requests made by Customer Care Specialists on behalf of clinicians within assigned divisions
- Researches travel issues and takes corrective action
- Works with Travel, Inc. corporate or Travel, Inc. consultants to learn new software and take ongoing GDS training
- Keeps management well informed of area activities and of any significant problems
- Completes assigned documentation in an accurate and timely manner
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years of corporate travel experience on Worldspan or Sabre required
- Ability to adhere to and exhibit the Company Values at all times
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
- Working knowledge of Global Distribution Systems (GDS)
