About the role
This is an excellent opportunity to join Amazon's world class Non-Relational and Emerging Database focused technical team in Denver, CO. Responsibilities
- Build, deploy and monitor AWS Non-Relational and Emerging Database Services (such as DynamoDB, ElastiCache, and Neptune) within Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) regions.
- Design, deploy, monitor and automate infrastructure, tools and systems to provide a highly-available and resilient platform for our customers' and our team's workloads.
- This position involves on-call responsibilities, typically about 10 days a quarter supporting AWS services in our portfolio.
- Act as a technical lead and mentor for your team
Requirements
- Cloud+ or GICSP (Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional) or GSEC (GIAC Security Essentials) or SSCP (Systems Security Certified Practitioner), or Associate's degree
- 5 years of industry experience
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
