About the role
Outpatient RN provide care to people with health problems who visit the hospital for diagnosis or treatment, but do not at this time require a bed or to be admitted for overnight care. Outpatient RN’s can work in a variety of settings includes camps, clinics, schools, and ambulatory care centers but typically work at Outpatient Clinics or in the Outpatient area of the hospital.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to people with health problems who visit the hospital for diagnosis or treatment, but do not require a bed or overnight care
- Work in a variety of settings, including outpatient clinics or in the outpatient area of the hospital
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN): 4-Year Education
- Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN): 2-Year Education
- Pass the NCLEX
- Madatory experience and Certs: PALS, ACLS, BLS
