About the role
This opportunity seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse with a focus on Medical-Surgical Oncology to support an oncology infusion center.
Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy and other infusion treatments safely and accurately
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions and side effects during infusion therapy
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and families throughout treatment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Chemotherapy certification
- Minimum of 2 years experience in infusion nursing, preferably in oncology or medical-surgical settings
