School Physical Therapist

A K-12 school in Chandler, AZ is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist to provide specialized support on a part-time basis. This contract position offers approximately 4 hours per month throughout the current school year (CSY). The ideal candidate will have experience working within both educational and healthcare settings, demonstrating expertise in physical therapy services tailored for school-aged children.

• Provide direct physical therapy services to students requiring intervention
• Assess, design, and implement individualized treatment plans
• Monitor and document student progress in accordance with school policies
• Consult with teachers and school staff to support student participation and accessibility
• Participate in meetings related to student evaluations and IEP development

• Licensed Physical Therapist with appropriate state credentials
• Experience in pediatric physical therapy, particularly within K-12 educational environments
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals
• Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and compliance with relevant regulations
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
