Diagnostic Medical and Vascular Sonographer

The Diagnostic Medical and Vascular Sonographer, under general supervision performs general Sonography and Vascular Sonography procedures in accordance with department protocols. Assists physicians with interventional procedures. Selects practical applications and technical factors. Is knowledgeable in and carries out all applicable processes of the department. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures. Participates in the AdventHealth performance improvement program. Adheres to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state, and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all

• Graduate of Ultrasound Program Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
• ARDMS - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonography Required
• RDMS - AB Registered Diagnostic Med Required
• RDMS-OB - Registered Diagnostic Med Sonographer-Ob Required
• RVT - Registered Vascular Technologist Required
