About the role

Get involved in a crucial part of Human Resources as our Management Analyst 5 in the Labor Relations program.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the Labor Relations Manager for bargaining on WFSE (GG and LAP) and Coalition Union negotiations and demand to bargains.
  • Identify, analyze and formulate strategies to address ineffective contract Articles needing modification, replacement, or eliminated in future statewide Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) negotiations.
  • Research strategies, barriers and potential challenges and recommends alternative solutions to subject matter experts, LR Manager and OFM Labor Negotiators.
  • Review agency wide contract compliance on personal service contracts for the agency.
  • Analyze and negotiate the impacts of Demand to Bargains filed by the Unions as a result of the personal service contracts.

Requirements

  • Five years of demonstrated experience in two or more of the following areas with a minimum of two years human resources experience and one year of supervisory experience: conducting research, analyzing policies, laws, rules, or regulations, conducting business analysis and developing requirements, leading business projects, managing business operations, business policy development, supervising Human Resources.
