General Education Teacher

Full Time (7:30-3:00 Daily Schedule) Caseload Information: Elementary teachers to support students who qualify for our district gifted and talented program. Small groups of 4-6. Experience supported students who’ve been identified as gifted. Experience teaching middle school math - some groups are accelerated 6th grade students doing 7th grade math. Experience teaching elementary school.

• Collaborate with education teachers, staff, and families to provide inclusive learning opportunities.
• Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet individual student goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and district guidelines.
• Provide ongoing communication and support to students and families.

• Valid Alaska teaching license (required).
• Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment.
