About the role
This role offers the chance to work with young learners, ages 2-5, in a resource inclusion classroom designed to support diverse educational needs. The position involves managing a caseload of approximately 15 students, supported by two paraprofessionals, with a focus on delivering individualized, inclusive instruction.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs
- Collaborate closely with paraprofessionals and related services staff to ensure cohesive support for students
- Maintain a structured, engaging classroom environment that fosters learning and growth for early childhood special education students
Requirements
- Texas State Teaching License with a Special Education EC-12 Endorsement is required
- Proven ability to write and implement IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Experience working in early childhood special education, preferably within a resource inclusion setting
