About the role
Licensed Practical Nurse 2, Full-Time, Permanent, Washington Veterans Home
Responsibilities
- Prepare, carry out, evaluate, and revise treatment plans for individual residents
- Pass medications and administer, monitor, and record treatments
- Suction patients, administer oxygen, catheterization, irrigation
- Maintain gastric feeding tubes and pumps
- Process physician orders
- Assist with routine rehabilitative and maintenance
Requirements
- Current Washington state practical nurse license or unencumbered practical nurse multistate license
- Ability to demonstrate proficiency in the English language
- Ability to perform data entry, maintain confidentiality, and provide a positive living environment
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions, document and report observed changes in patient condition and behavior
