About the role

Ascension is seeking a highly analytical and collaborative Director, Marketing Reporting & Insights to lead the development and delivery of standardized, actionable marketing performance reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation and delivery of standardized marketing performance dashboards for executives, market leaders, and channel owners across CRM, media, and advertising
  • Own the monthly reporting process for market-level campaign performance, translating data into insights that inform strategy, resource allocation, and patient engagement outcomes
  • Serve as a key reporting partner to shared services and channel leads (CRM, Media & Advertising) to support performance storytelling, campaign analysis, and optimization recommendations
  • Deliver executive-ready insights and performance summaries that distill trends, progress to goals, and strategic opportunities
  • Support KPI development and metric alignment across Marketing teams to ensure reporting consistency and comparability
  • Establish and manage a recurring reporting calendar and stakeholder feedback loop aligned to business planning cycles, QBRs, and key leadership meetings
  • Act as the primary reporting liaison for Marketing Leadership, Market teams, and Channel Owners
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with marketing operations, analytics, and data teams to ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency
  • Enforce data visualization standards and governance protocols across all Marketing reporting platforms and audiences
  • Ensure data quality and standardization across all reports, including UTM governance, consistent KPI definitions, and validation processes in collaboration with data engineering and analytics partners
  • Support the development of presentation materials and insights for quarterly business reviews and leadership meetings
  • Lead the evolution of Marketing reporting from static reports to automated dashboards powered by Tableau and Datorama
  • Manage and optimize GA4, Datorama, and Tableau environments to improve usability, scalability, and data trust
  • Consolidate reporting across tools and channels into centralized, role-based dashboards aligned to Marketing KPIs
  • Define the roadmap for automation, insight delivery, and AI-powered enhancements to drive faster decision-making

Requirements

  • 8–10+ years of experience in marketing analytics, business intelligence, or performance reporting
  • Strong technical expertise in Tableau, Datorama, GA4, and Salesforce, with hands-on experience designing dashboards and tracking infrastructure (e.g., UTMs, server-side GTM, CallRail)
  • Demonstrated experience in attribution modeling, ROI measurement, and incrementality testing
  • Strong understanding of healthcare marketing data and HIPAA compliance; experience integrating marketing analytics with CRM and EHR systems to connect campaign engagement to patient outcomes
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with a track record of translating complex insights into business strategy and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Familiarity with full-funnel measurement across paid, owned, earned, and shared media channels
  • Strong project management skills and experience working cross-functionally across technical and business stakeholders
  • Preferred: Experience in healthcare, consumer marketing, or other highly regulated industries
