About the role
The Medical Assistant – Certified will assist in providing patient care services within the scope of licensure and as delegated by the licensed practitioner or Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities
- Assist in providing patient care services
- Perform routine medical record duties
- Provide administrative support
- Assist in the smooth operation of the medical department
Requirements
- Completion of a Medical Assistant – Certified program
- Experience working as a Medical Assistant in an outpatient clinic setting
- Certification by the American Heart Association in Basic Life Support and Basic First Aid
