• Experience in a professional prototyping lab, model shop, or R&D environment
• CAD/CAM: Proficiency in SolidWorks, or Rhino for preparing files for 3D printing or milling paths
• Electronics: Strong soldering skills and a solid understanding of basic circuit design and power management
• Problem Solving: A "hacker" mindset—the ability to find creative ways to make a prototype work within the physical constraints the design
• Craftsmanship: An obsessive eye for detail, particularly regarding tolerances, fit-and-finish, and material realism
