Retail Staff Pharmacist

A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced pharmacist to provide expert pharmaceutical care at a retail location in Mcarthur, CA. This 13-week contract position begins May 1 and offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The role involves working within a team committed to delivering exceptional patient care in a supportive environment.

• Accurately dispense prescription medications and provide counseling to patients on proper medication use
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective drug therapy
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards and pharmacy protocols
• Utilize the Cerner electronic medical records system to document patient information and prescriptions efficiently
• Manage inventory and ensure medication storage standards are upheld

• Valid pharmacist license and relevant pharmacy degree
• Proven retail pharmacy experience with strong knowledge of prescription medications
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR or similar electronic health record systems
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
