Business Solutions Analyst

The Business Solution Analyst for Product plays a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions within the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain.

• Understand the overarching business vision for Commercial Insurance in the Small and Lower Middle Market segments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to elicit, define, and document business requirements for systems and processes.
• Lead and manage project teams to execute product requirements and solution sessions.
• Act as the primary liaison between business functions, IT teams, and consulting partners to ensure alignment on requirements and solutions.
• Develop and communicate detailed Product Specification business requirements documentation.
• Define and document Epics, Features, and User Stories that represent system functionality, along with associated benefits and value for users.
• Collaborate within an Agile Development environment to define solutions that support business processes.
• Review work requests and assess the impact of product and system changes on existing workflows.
• Anticipate, negotiate, and resolve business design issues to ensure project success.
• Manage the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process to ensure solutions meet business needs and expectations.

• Comprehensive knowledge of P&C and Specialty insurance, including Product Development, Operations, Claims, and IT.
• Proven experience in Product Architecture and designing complex technology solutions.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to independently identify and propose alternative solutions.
• Exceptional resource management skills to drive projects to successful delivery.
• Strong understanding of business processes and product functionality, with the ability to identify gaps and proactively suggest improvements.
