Registered Nurse 2
Responsibilities
- Participate as a member of an interdisciplinary team in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of all patient care provided
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in the absence of the LPN
- Educate patients and families regarding medication, treatment plans, behavior interventions, and cottage programs
- Report and document significant changes in patient condition
- Prepare shift change report
- Monitor patients' safety and initiate interventions to prevent harm
- Lead and co-lead group activities on the ward
- Sign off patient movements
- Perform nursing admission assessment
Requirements
- Valid Washington State license to practice as a registered, professional nurse
- Current RN licensure
- Current BLS certification
- Current TB test
- Current CPR certification
- Current immunizations
- Current physical exam
- Current mental health evaluation
- Current substance abuse evaluation
- Current HIV test
- Current hepatitis B test
- Current influenza vaccine
