About the role

Registered Nurse 2

Responsibilities

  • Participate as a member of an interdisciplinary team in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of all patient care provided
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments in the absence of the LPN
  • Educate patients and families regarding medication, treatment plans, behavior interventions, and cottage programs
  • Report and document significant changes in patient condition
  • Prepare shift change report
  • Monitor patients' safety and initiate interventions to prevent harm
  • Lead and co-lead group activities on the ward
  • Sign off patient movements
  • Perform nursing admission assessment

Requirements

  • Valid Washington State license to practice as a registered, professional nurse
  • Current RN licensure
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current TB test
  • Current CPR certification
  • Current immunizations
  • Current physical exam
  • Current mental health evaluation
  • Current substance abuse evaluation
  • Current HIV test
  • Current hepatitis B test
  • Current influenza vaccine
