About the role

The Manager, Enterprise Supply Chain Management (SCM) leads a high-performing Team of sourcing and procurement professionals responsible for securing many of the goods and services that keep Southwest Airlines running.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate and promote SCM goals and initiatives through extensive relationship development
  • Executes sourcing and contracting strategies across the assigned commodities and categories while supporting process optimization, policy enforcement, compliance initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
  • Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data
