Strategic Business Development Leader, Missile Defense

The U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) team is seeking a Strategic Business Development Leader with deep missile defense expertise to shape and drive AWS cloud adoption with DoD missile defense programs.

• Serve as the primary subject matter expert on missile defense systems, architectures, and programs
• Develop and execute comprehensive engagement strategies for missile defense programs
• Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders across the missile defense community
• Partner with AWS account teams to develop and validate technical solutions
• Lead strategic initiatives with defense industry partners
• Guide internal AWS teams to ensure solutions meet the unique requirements of missile defense programs
• Represent AWS as a thought leader in the missile defense community

• 6+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
• 6+ years of professional or military experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
• 10+ years of missile defense experience
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related)
• Demonstrated ability to interact with DoD senior leaders
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI
• Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at organizational level
• Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams
• Experience in business development or program management
• Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS experience is a plus)
