Join us as we work to create a thriving ecosystem that delivers accessible, high-quality, and sustainable healthcare for all. We are seeking a Lead Member of Technical Staff to join our Unified Pipeline team within our Chennai R&D, Platform subdivision, Internal Developer Platform.
Responsibilities
- Design and Implement Solutions: Lead the design and implementation of highly scalable and reliable CI/CD pipelines using Harness and Jenkins.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor and guide junior engineers on best practices for CI/CD, pipeline as code, and infrastructure management.
- Pipeline Optimization: Continuously optimize and fine-tune pipelines to reduce build and deployment times, improving overall developer lead time.
- Cloud and Container Expertise: Design and manage Kubernetes deployment strategies (e.g., Canary, Blue/Green) and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS services.
- Observability and Security: Integrate observability tools into deployment workflows to provide real-time dashboards for deployment events, health checks, and performance metrics.
- Hands-on Development: Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot pipeline code (e.g., Groovy for Jenkins, YAML for Harness). Automate recurring tasks and build tools to improve the team's efficiency.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product teams, security, and NOC to understand their requirements and provide expert guidance.
- Agile Contribution: Participate and contribute actively to Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in a software development or DevOps engineering role, with a strong focus on CI/CD.
- Proven experience in a technical leadership or mentoring capacity.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
