Physical Therapist - School Setting

A full-time physical therapy opportunity is available for the duration of a full semester at an elementary school located in Aberdeen, MD. This contract position offers the chance to work with a diverse caseload of elementary-aged students, providing essential support to enhance their physical development and educational experience.

• Deliver individualized physical therapy services to elementary school students based on their specific needs.
• Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective therapy plans.
• Conduct assessments and document progress regularly to ensure optimal student outcomes.
• Support students in developing motor skills that promote independence and participation in school activities.

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in school settings.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and school staff.
• Ability to manage and plan an elementary school caseload efficiently.
