Responsibilities
- Provides appropriate care to patients
- Greet patients, obtain clinical information, financial and demographic information
- Assist providers during treatment and examination
- Assist with procedures and medication administration
- Performs office duties as needed
Requirements
- High School Grad or Equiv
- One or more years of Work Experience
- Knowledge of health care field and medical terminology
- Knowledge of chronic disease management
- Knowledge of and ability to utilize internal and external resources
- Expertise in patient advocacy and navigating complex systems
- Ability to function and assist others in stressful, fast-paced environments
- Ability to exercise sound judgement, diplomacy and a professional demeanor
- Experience with computers required
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS)
